Loan Documentation Processor - Commercial

Job Description

SUMMARY:
• Processing of all required documentation for commercial loan applicants, following specified regulations and procedures
• Back-up for consumer loan processing, as needed
• Close loans and provide customer service for all loan customers

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Office/Clerical experience necessary, including experience in customer service and managing work-flow to successfully complete tasks
• Competence in Word, Excel, 10-key adding machine, copy machine and other office machines available
• Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision and to take initiative in problem solving documentation and customer issues
• Ability to communicate effectively with a customer or prospective customer regarding loan questions in order to accommodate the needs of the customer
• Ability to read and comply with EBT’s loan policy while assisting in the underwriting, and/or ordering, closing, booking, and funding of loan
• Preparing documentation of fund transfers for debits and/or credits from and to loans with respective deposit accounts.
• Ability to professionally conduct oneself with telephone, email, and written correspondence with customer and/or co-workers
• Willingness to research and clear exceptions to loans as determined by EBT’s Loan Policy
• Willingness to extend working hours where necessary to accommodate the completion of varied tasks on behalf of the customer
• Complete other duties as assigned from time to time by supervisor
• Acceptable interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree
• Must have general knowledge of word processing, Windows, scanning, faxing, email, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer
• Two to four years related banking experience is desired
