Assemble, verify and prepare closing documents at completion of real estate transactions. Closes approved mortgage loans according to underwriting conditions and program guidelines. Assists mortgage Loan Shipper with sending recorded documents to investors and verify receipt of documents and purchase of loans. Assists Mortgage Loan Shipper with preparing and mailing final investor documents.
Reviews and processes all required documents on mortgage loan applications following specified regulations and procedures. Assist with shipping loan files to investors, preparing investor shipping forms, goodbye letters and letters to insurance and flood certification companies. Tracks express packages to insure next day delivery to investors. Verifies investors have all documents necessary to proceed with loan purchase. Works proactively with President of Mortgage Division, Operations Manager, EVP, originator, processor, underwriter and customer. Retrieve loan files requested by audit, record loan files requested and returned, and send requested files to audit. Order MIC and LGC on government closed loans. Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or twelve months related experience and/or training, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient use of computer and calculator, good telephone skills and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Responsible for assisting the Mortgage Lending Operations Manager with training and overseeing the daily tasks of the Mortgage Loan Shipper.
